Public Discussion
The minutes record no comments.
Reports
- Mr. Wright raised limited visibility at Hamilton Street and Home Street, which he said leads to accidents. He proposed stop signs on all approaches and no-parking signs near the corners, which need coordination with the Somerset County Traffic Division because Hamilton Street is a county road. See roads and traffic.
- Mr. Vassanella reported zero storm-related injuries or fatalities, and asked residents for patience as multiple plow passes can block driveways and intersections.
- Ms. Francois and Mayor Kramer congratulated former Councilmember Potosnak on his appointment as Commissioner of the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.
- Mr. Anbarasan noted that some streets had not been plowed and asked for patience.
- Ms. Uddin reported on the January 14 Planning Board meeting, where the master plan was to be discussed: the Council will review, discuss and adopt, and concerns remain about ordinance buffers and setbacks. See the master plan reexamination.
- Manager Vornlocker said February taxes were due, with a grace period through February 10.
