The rest of the agenda was public comment on agenda items, guest speakers, a privilege-of-the-floor period and adjournment.
What the meeting marked
Resolution 2026-068, approved January 22, 2026, records the New Jersey Historic Trust grant award increasing by $239,228 to $763,343 and gives the earlier award as $524,115. The February 19 and March 12 Ordinance 26-04 documents give conflicting original grant amounts: their title lines say $524,155, while the ordinance text says $524,115. The construction contract, originally $556,250, rose to $580,770 with Change Order #1 of $24,520 under Resolution 2026-223, approved August 20, 2026. See the January 22 minutes, February 19 ordinance record, March 12 ordinance record and August 20 minutes. The Township’s meeting-highlights page separately says the March to Victory presentation occurred at its October 22, 2026 meeting.
