What happened
The Planning Board did not meet on April 8, 2026. The record for the date is a public notice headed “PUBLIC NOTICE — PLANNING BOARD — TOWNSHIP OF WARREN — COUNTY OF SOMERSET,” filed on the township’s Agenda Center page for the meeting.
The notice reads: “PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Planning Board Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026 has been cancelled. The next scheduled meeting is tentatively April 22, 2026.”
The notice gives no reason for the cancellation. It lists no resolutions, applications, or ordinance reviews. Because no meeting was held, the Board took no votes on April 8. No site plan, subdivision, or Master Plan consistency item was acted on that evening.
The notice restates the Board’s standing arrangements: “All Planning Board meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. in the Susie B. Boyce Meeting Room, 44 Mountain Boulevard, Warren, New Jersey.”
The April 8 date had been listed as the next meeting at the close of the Board’s March 25, 2026 meeting. The minutes from that meeting record resolutions PB 25-05, PB 25-01A, and PB 25-03. The minutes also record a finding that the AH-6 Affordable Housing District ordinance is consistent with the Master Plan.
