968 Route 202 South: Briad Development LLC
The agenda listed Case No. 2026-003AUV MSP, Briad Development LLC, Block 44, Lot 32, 968 Route 202 South, represented by Michael P. Castore, Esq. Its summary describes a 5-acre lot in the R/S-2 zone with a 113,837-square-foot, three-story hotel and 155 parking spaces. The applicant proposes to convert the 131-room hotel into 88 rental apartments and seeks a d(1) use variance and minor site-plan approval; the site-plan work includes 16 new parking spaces, new signage, updated stormwater infrastructure and landscaping changes.
The applicant’s hearing notice, published September 24, 2026, describes a 20% affordable set-aside, states that apartment buildings are not a permitted use in the R/S-2 zone, and says transition-buffer relief along the western property line is also sought.

The agenda listed Case No. 2026-010A HV, Daphne Lazarte, Block 5.07, Lot 7, for approval of two fences built in the front yard of a 2.177-acre lot in the LD zone: a four-foot solid fence on the southerly property line and a five-foot chain-link fence with slats that reduce its transparency on the northerly line. The summary says both extend 152 feet from the front of the home toward Lamington Road, with the house set back 279.9 feet from the right-of-way.
